Argyll GasroPub recently won "Best Mac-n-Cheese" in Denver honors at the Gabby Gourmet Cook-Off, beating out some of Denver's most famous chefs. Chef Sergio Romero, formerly of award winning "Joseph's Table" in Taos, NM; has joined up with restaurateur Robert Thompson of Brasserie Rouge fame and former 5280 Magazine & Westword "Best New Restaurant" winner as well as multiple Wine Spectator Award of Excellence recipient.
Chef Sergio was recently invited as 1 of the 2 Denver chefs to compete in this year's Mile High Cook-Off at The Fillmore Auditorium. Sergio's "House Braised Rabbit Lasagna in a Sage Scented Bechamel w/ Stewed Tomatoes; as well as Madras Curried Colorado Lamb Shank w/ Tuber Puree and Veal Jus have become staples of the Cherry Creek dining circuit.
